BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 8. Primary housing has risen in price in Kazakhstan by almost 20 percent over the year,Trend reports via the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of Kazakhstan.

The prices of apartments in the secondary market increased by 26.4 percent in July 2022, compared to the same month in 2021, while sales of new housing increased by 19.6 percent.

The rent for housing in July 2022 increased by 20.8 percent compared to the same period last year.

In July 2022, the prices for the resale of apartments increased by 0.8 percent and for the sale of new housing – by 0.5 percent compared to June, 2022.

The rent for housing in July increased by 0.4 percent compared to the previous month.

According to the Bureau of National Statistics, price indices are formed on the basis of sample observation data for regional centers and cities such as Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent.
