BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 23. The total investments in transportation, logistics and warehousing sector in Kazakhstan from January through October 2022 amounted to over 1.1 trillion Kazakh tenge ($2.3 billion), Trend reports, citing Kazakh media.

According to the report, this figure shows an increase of 11.6 percent, compared to 2021 figures, or 8.5 percent real growth.

Meanwhile, the investments from the companies’ funds in Kazakhstani economy in the reporting period of 2022 totaled 614 billion Kazakh tenge ($1.3 billion).

The investments from the national budget, having increased by 22 percent, amounted to 223.3 billion Kazakh tenge ($482.7 million), while the investments from the local budgets decreased by 9.3 percent – to 114.9 billion Kazakh tenge ($248.8 million).

At the same time, non-bank borrowings decreased by 50.1 percent to 102.1 billion Kazakh tenge ($221 million). Bank loans increased threefold to 36.4 billion Kazakh tenge ($78.8 million).
