BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 2. Kazakhstan plans to adopt a Concept for the development of the electric power industry until 2032, Bulat Aqchulaqov, Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan, said at a briefing, Trend reports, citing the press service of the Ministry.

According to the minister, at the same time, a digital energy platform will be put into operation in 2023, which will allow managing risks and monitoring the technical condition of stations.

He noted, in the first quarter of 2023, an audit of all the country's thermal power plants will be completed, which will identify problems and their current technical condition.

Meanwhile, according to Aqchulaqov, by the end of 2022, Kazakhstan expects electricity generation to total 112.7 billion kWh, or 98.5 percent, compared to the same period of 2021.

At the same time, the 2023 plan for electricity generation is to amount to 114.9 billion kWh.
