In total, the Kazakh government aims to implement 967 agriculture projects worth 2.8 trillion Kazakh tenge ($6.21 billion) by the end of 2026.

Smailov added that Kazakhstan will allocate 52.4 billion Kazakh tenge ($116.25 million) to microfinance rural population and improve their level of income in the framework of the relevant program. Government estimates suggest that around 11,000 microloans will be issued in the framework of the program.

Recently, Kazakhstan discussed the draft Concept for the development of the agro-industrial complex until 2030. The Concept was developed with the participation of government representatives, experts, and business leaders.

The document is expected to serve as a strategy for combating global challenges and potentially harmful global trends, which may harm the Kazakh agriculture sector.
