ASTANA, Kazakhstan, July 26. Following the planned overhaul, Kazakhstan's Pavlodar Oil Refinery increased its crude oil processing capacity to 15,000 tons per day, Trend reports.

To date, all refinery units have been restored and brought back to normal operational mode four days ahead of the planned schedule. The production and shipment of major products, such as diesel fuel, gasoline, bitumen, petroleum coke, and liquefied gas, are now being carried out in the usual way.

During the scheduled maintenance period, the refinery adhered to industrial safety standards by conducting a thorough audit and technical inspection of its equipment. To ensure the dependable and uninterrupted operation of the facility, the replacement of capacitive, pumping, and heat exchange equipment, as well as technological furnace pipes and sections of pipelines, was carried out. Moreover, catalysts and adsorbents that had reached the end of their service life were also promptly replaced.

In accordance with the planned upgrades, the chimney of the delayed coking plant was completely replaced, and the elements of the bitumen production plant's chimney underwent necessary repairs. Additionally, crucial electrical equipment vital for the production process was replaced, further ensuring a seamless and efficient operation.

On June 21, it was noted that Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Refinery suspended its operations to carry out a planned overhaul. The work schedule was approved by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
