ASTANA, Kazakhstan, August 3. The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan allocated more than 12,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for the Aktobe region in August of the current year, Trend reports.
The region's administration reports that 463 tons of LPG have already been delivered from three production facilities since August 1 to suit the region's needs. The CNPC-Aktobemunaygaz factory is now preparing a cargo of 31 tank cars totaling 1,116 tons of LPG to be delivered to the neighborhood autogas refueling stations, therefore operations there are receiving special attention.
The distribution of LPG is being carried out in accordance with timetables that have been approved, according to representatives of the production plants. The regional authorities continue to closely monitor the matter of ensuring the region's electricity supply.
Meanwhile, the maximum wholesale prices for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from manufacturing plants have been increased from 33,600 tenge ($75.01) to 40,320 tenge ($90.02) per ton (excluding VAT) starting July 1 in Kazakhstan.
