ASTANA, Kazakhstan, September 22. As a result of the joint work of the local executive body and the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan, an additional 2,660 tons of liquefied petroleum gas have now been allocated to the Aktobe region, Trend reports.
In addition, the Port Impex gas filling station unscheduled purchased 1,050 tons of gas from the Tengizchevroil plant.
The total volume of liquefied gas in September amounted to 14,329 tons.
Also, at present, all three plants in the region (CNPS Aktobemunaygas JSC, Kazakhoil Aktobe LLP, and Gas Processing Company LLP) have completed scheduled maintenance work and are loading LPG in accordance with the approved schedule. The situation is expected to stabilize at the end of September.
According to information from manufacturing plants, as of September 18, out of 14,329 tons, 7,807 tons (54 percent) were shipped; another 6,522 tons will be delivered by the end of the month.
There are three liquefied petroleum gas production plants in the region - Aktobemunaigas JSC, Kazakhoil Aktobe LLP, and Gas Processing Company LLP. In the region, queues were observed at automobile gas filling stations, which were associated with several factors. First of all, these were repair works carried out at Gas Processing Plant-2 of the Aktobemunaygas JSC plant, due to which the shipment of liquefied petroleum gas by rail in August 2023 was reduced by 20 percent. Also, due to the shutdown of the compressor at the Kazakhoil Aktobe LLP plant, gas production in August of this year was reduced from 84 tons per day to 64 tons per day.
