Kazakhstan sees rise in vehicles production

ASTANA, Kazakhstan, October 1. Kazakhstan produced 1,711 buses and minibuses from January through August 2023, Trend reports.

Data of the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan shows that over the same period in 2022, 1,033 fewer buses and minibuses were produced. Production increased 2.5 times.

In addition, over 8 months of this year, the production of passenger cars increased by 41.5 percent. So, if Kazakh enterprises produced more than 88,500 passanger cars during the specified period, then in the corresponding period of last year 62,500 passanger cars were produced.

Along with this, the production of trucks also increased - by 24.6 percent. If from January through August of this year almost 6,100 trucks were produced, then in the same period last year 4,800 trucks were produced.

For 12 months of 2022, 113,900 vehicles of all types were produced in Kazakhstan - almost 22 percent more than in the previous year. Of these, 103,300 were directly passenger cars - immediately 28.1 percent more than a year earlier.

Also, the country's automobile factories produced 7,800 trucks, 1,400 buses and minibuses, and 670 specialized vehicles.
