ASTANA, Kazakhstan, March 12. Housing prices in Kazakhstan's primary market grew by 3 percent in February 2024 compared to February 2023, Trend reports.
As the country's Bureau of National Statistics notes, secondary
market apartment prices fell by 3.3 percent during the same time
period.
Furthermore, the rent for comfortable housing in February 2024 has
risen by 2.9 percent from the same month last year.
Regionally, annual major home market values increased by 8.9
percent in Aktobe and 7.1 percent in Kyzylorda.
In the secondary housing market, Taldykorgan (9 percent) and Atyrau
(8.2 percent) led price increases, while in the rental housing
market, Zhezkazgan (23.3 percent), Karaganda (23 percent) and
Atyrau (21 percent).
In January, primary market housing prices increased by 2.9 percent,
while secondary market flats decreased by 4.4 percent.
