S&P reveals expectations for Kazakhstan's GDP growth in 2024

ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 18. S&P Global Ratings has published forecasts for economic growth in Kazakhstan, Trend reports.

The analysts at S&P expect that real GDP growth in Kazakhstan in 2024 will be 3.47 percent.

According to the data, the growth of real GDP per capita in Kazakhstan for 2024 is projected at 2.09 percent.

In addition to this, nominal GDP at the end of the year is expected to be $297.82 billion.

Meanwhile, Kazakhstan's Ministry of National Economy predicts GDP growth of 5.3 percent in 2024 and 6 percent in 2025 and 2026.

Furthermore, Kazakhstan's economic growth amounted to 5.1 percent in 2023. Last year, the volume of investments in fixed capital increased by 13.7 percent and amounted to $39.5 billion, while over the first nine months of 2023, $19.7 billion of foreign direct investment was attracted.

S&P Global Ratings is an American credit rating organization that produces financial research and analysis on stocks, bonds, and commodities. S&P is regarded as the largest of the Big Three credit rating organizations, with Moody's Investors Service and Fitch Ratings.
