Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, Jan. 8 / Trend , R.Mashadihasanli/ Nomination for membership in the Public Chamber, created in late 2008 by a decision of the Government of Kyrgyzstan, is underway, Chairman of the Dostluk Nuru Fund of the Kyrgyzstan Peoples Assembly Janchar Kalmanov told Trend .
According to the statute, 45 members will be elected to the Public Chamber by voting for the candidates nominated by the non-governmental organizations, civic associations, foundations and other entities operating in Kyrgyzstan. The Public Chamber will hold Council meeting twice a year to develop a set of proposals regarding settlement of the country's problems and further to submit them to the President. The names of the members and the people elected to the governing bodies of the Chamber will be divulged in January.
