"We felt support of Turkey during tragic events in S.Kyrgyzstan in 2010," president for transitional period Roza Otunbayeva said at today's Danaker order ceremony, awarding Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, news agency "24.kg" reported.
According to her, Turkey rendered not only humanitarian but also financial aid, the Kyrgyz Republic needed. "Kyrgyzstan and Turkey have common roots and culture," said Roza Otunbayeva.
"Today Turkey is one of the dynamically developing countries. It takes 6th place among European countries and 16th place in the world. According to analysis, in year 2017 Turkey will be second after China," said president of the country.
In his turn Prime Minister of Turkey said that his country was ready to help Kyrgyzstan in future.
