Kyrgyz "Respublica" faction demands to open a criminal case against Prosecutor General's Office

Leader of Respublica faction Kanatbek Isaev demanded to open a criminal case against officers of the Prosecutor General's Office in connection with money withdrawal from the biggest mobile operator, 24.kg reported. He has voiced this at the joint session of the parliamentary committees on budget and finances and on legal order and clean-up.

Kanatbek Isaev asserts that in 2010 KGS 147 millions were remitted to private firms for citizens who said that their passports were used illegally. Another $7 million were transferred to accounts of the firm registered in offshore zone. Mr. Isaev stated that this happened because the Prosecutor General's Office "turned a blind eye to it."

He demands to initiate the criminal case on facts of abuse and negligence caused damage to the state.
