Officers of the Military Enlistment Office draft into the army minor children in Aksy district of Jalal-Abad province, the southern Kyrgyzstan. The head of the League of Children's Right Advocates public foundation, Nazgul Turdubekova, reported to 24.kg news agency.

According to her, recently 4 senior high school students were drafted into the army despite the fact that teenagers don't reach 18 years old. "They were not allowed to pass normally exams even. Their parents are in panic, they just don't know what to do. It must be noted that another 3 schoolboys were drafted into the army in April," said Nazgul Turdubekova.

As the human right advocate noted, actions of officers of the Military Enlistment Office violate rights of children. "Nobody has right to draft men before 18 ages into the army pursuant to the law. To the date we have sent a query regarding to children illegally taken to the army to the Aksy Department of Education," added Nazgul Turdubekova.

24.kg news agency is expecting official comments from the Ministry of Defence.
