Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev received an EU Special Representative for Central Asia, Patricia Flor, the presidential press-service said today, KirTAG reported.
The sides have discussed issues of further cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the European Union in all areas of mutual interest.
Speaking about the development of democracy in Kyrgyzstan, Atambayev said that we look forward to working with the European Union on this issue.
The President stressed the importance of the further development of the partnership on specific joint projects between the Kyrgyz Republic and the European Union.
Flor stressed that the EU appreciates Kyrgyzstan's efforts in strengthening democracy. "We consider your country a good example in Central Asia," she said.
