Malaysian FM to pay first official visit to Kyrgyzstan

By Elena Kosolapova - Trend: Malaysian Foreign Minister Anifah Haji Aman will pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan on September 8-10 at the invitation of Kyrgyz counterpart, Kabar news agency reported with the reference to Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry.
It will be the first visit of Malaysian Foreign Minister to Kyrgyzstan in the history of bilateral relations.
Within the visit, Anifah Haji Aman will hold bilateral talks with Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Yerlan Abdyldaev, and with Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambaev.
The foreign ministers of two countries will discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation within the meeting. Among the main topics will be the expansion of cooperation in trade and economic sphere, including the prospects for joint projects envisaged by Kyrgyzstan's national strategy for sustainable development of the country for 2013-2017, as well as cooperation in the framework of international organizations.
Moreover Malaysian Foreign Minister will take part in the opening ceremony of the First World Nomads Games in Cholpon-Ata on Sept.9.
Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia established diplomatic relations in 1992.
