BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17. The gross domestic product (GDP) of Kyrgyzstan significantly increased from January through April 2022, Trend reports via the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the committee, this figure reached 203 billion soms ($2.4 billion), which is an increase of 19.8 percent compared to 169.4 billion soms ($2 billion) in the same period of 2021.
Industrial production made a positive contribution of 21.7 percent of total Kyrgyzstan’s GDP from January through April 2022.
Industrial enterprises produced goods worth of 116 billion soms ($1.4 billion), which is an increase of 10.3 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2021.
