BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 23. Kyrgyzstan's trade turnover with Belarus sharply increased from January through November 2022, Trend reports citing the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.

According to statistics, trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Belarus reached $90.2 million in 11 months of 2022, which is an increase of 39.8 percent over the same period in 2021 ($64.4 million)

During the reporting period of last year, Kyrgyzstan imported goods from Belarus worth $61.2 million, which is an increase of 21.6 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2021 ($50.3 million).

Export of goods from Kyrgyzstan to Belarus amounted to $29 million from January through November 2022, which is a twofold increase compared to the same period in 2021 ($14.2 million).

Thus, Belarus during the reporting period took 3rd place among the main trading partners of Kyrgyzstan among the EAEU countries. Meanwhile, Russia ranked first ($2.9 billion), followed by Kazakhstan ($1 billion).

Kyrgyzstan and Belarus continue to place a special emphasis on the growth of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. The main Belarusian export commodities to Kyrgyzstan are agricultural products, tractors, etc. At the same time, Kyrgyzstan exports to Belarus parts of motor vehicles, copper, and agricultural products.
