BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 28. AmCham (the American Chamber of Commerce) plays the key role in creating conducive business environment in Kyrgyzstan, Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Kyrgyzstan, Dastan Imanaliev told Trend.
According to the director, AmCham currently is the leading business association in the country in advocating for the rights of entrepreneurs.
Imanaliev said that in 2022, AmCham collaborated with the US Embassy in Kyrgyzstan to implement the third round of the AmCham Mentors Club project and the Business Promotion and Entrepreneurship Empowerment through Dialogue program.
“AmCham Mentors Club project aimed to build up the potential of university students in the country. The program included a series of trainings and workshops focused on professional development, exploring new innovative approaches in business, and developing soft skills,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Business Promotion and Entrepreneurship Empowerment through Dialogue program in Kyrgyzstan was designed to strengthen entrepreneurship and small business development, with a particular focus on recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic in the regions.
Imanaliev noted that the program aimed to increase the knowledge and tools that entrepreneurs and small business owners need to make their businesses successful.
AmCham Kyrgyzstan organized a variety of events aimed to promote business relationships in the country in 2022.
