BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 4. The amount of custom fees in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 8.1 billion soms ($92.7 million) in March 2023, which is 80.4 percent or 3.6 billion soms ($41.2 million) more than in the same month of 2022, Trend reports via the State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan.

The received custom fees exceeded the plan set by the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan by 7.5 percent or 568.9 million soms ($6.5 million).

Meanwhile, the value of custom fees in Kyrgyzstan totaled 20.7 billion soms ($237 million) in the first quarter of 2023 and exceeded the plan by 5 percent or 994.1 million soms ($11.3 million). The figure increased by 45.9 percent or 6.5 billion soms ($74 .4 million) quarter-on-quarter.

Meanwhile, the value of custom fees to the state budget of Kyrgyzstan hit record in 2022.

The amount of custom fees to the state budget of the country reached 74 billion soms ($863.6 million) in 2022, which is an increase of 57.8 percent over 2021 (46.9 billion soms, or $547.3 million).
