BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, December 2. As of September 30, 2023, Kyrgyzstan had 2.956 million Visa payment cards in circulation, accounting for 46.61 percent of total cards in circulation, Trend reports.
According to data from the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, this represents a 73 percent increase over the 1.704 million cards (36.6 percent of the total) reported on the same date in 2022.
The majority of these cards, totaling 2.117 million, were actively used in Bishkek, followed by the Osh area with 246,473 cards.
