BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, November 5. Hungary may host the next informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in 2025, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov said at a meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in the extended format within the framework of the official visit, Trend repost via press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan.
“We fully support Hungary's initiative to hold the next informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Budapest in 2025. We have already supported your initiative.
We are very pleased that the Budapest Informal Summit will be held within the framework of our chairmanship of the Organization of Turkic States. In turn, as the chairing country, we are ready to do everything possible to make this summit a success,” Zhaparov said.
According to the President, Kyrgyzstan is actively preparing for tomorrow's Summit of the Organization of Turkic States.
“Your presence will add special significance to our discussions and emphasize the desire to strengthen ties between our states. Within the framework of tomorrow's Summit, we will jointly review important documents and discuss further development of multilateral cooperation within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States. I am confident that this cooperation will lead to new successes and strengthen our ties. It is important to note that the Kyrgyz side highly appreciates the aspiration of our Hungarian brothers to Turkic integration, as well as your undoubted personal contribution, Prime Minister,” Zhaparov noted.
