The President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Vyaynyame Niyniste said that Turkmenistan tends to ensure constructive and friendly relations between the two countries, a released message said.

'Sincerely keen to ensure the development and strengthening of constructive and friendly relations between our countries I have decided to accredit Niklas Lindkvist as Ambassador of the Finland Republic to Turkmenistan', the letter said.

Chairman of the Majlis (Parliament) of Turkmenistan Akja Nurberdieva received credentials from Lindkvist and discussed cooperation issues with him. Trade, agriculture, tourism, education and antiparliamentary relations were mentioned as priority spheres.
