New British Ambassador takes his post in Ashgabat

The UK has friendly relations with Turkmenistan, the message of Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said.
These days a new British Ambassador takes his post in Ashgabat.
"Wishing to maintain friendly relations and good rapport established between the Kingdom and Turkmenistan, we have decided to appoint Mark Sanjay Wadvani OBE as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Turkmenistan," the letter reads.
The letter also states that "high personal qualities of Mr. Wadvani suggest that he will perfectly fulfill the mission entrusted to him."
