Japarguly Orazov has been appointed the deputy chairman of Turkmenneft State Concern.
Turkmenistan's President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the relevant decree on his appointment.
The state concern's activity covers more than 600 oil, oil & gas and gas fields, which are at the different levels of their development.
The concern has begun to carry out large-scale geological explorations in recent years at the Northern Goturdepe field in the Caspian Sea's Turkmen section.
