Turkmenistan sells petrochemicals via state exchange to Turkey, Afghanistan

Foreign businessmen acquired products of Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex (TNGIZT) during trading on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan held last week, Trend reports on Oct.8 via the website of TNGIZT.

The total amount of the above-mentioned transactions exceeded $21.2 million.

Representatives of the business circles of Turkey and Afghanistan purchased motor gasoline, straight-run gasoline, aviation kerosene, and liquefied gas at the exchange in foreign currency.

Besides, sheet glass, cars of various brands, fruits, vegetables, and cotton yarn in foreign currency and Turkmen manat were sold to Ukraine, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, UAE, and Afghanistan.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It’s the major state regulator of export-import operations.
