BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 23. The total amount of transactions at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $13.5 million last week, Trend reports via “Business Turkmenistan” news agency.
Entrepreneurs from the UK purchased aviation kerosene produced by the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TCOR) and representatives of business communities from Turkey, UAE, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased liquefied gas.
Businessmen from Russia, UAE, Turkey, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased cotton yarn and handmade carpets on the stock exchange for a total amount of about 800,000 Turkmen manats ($228,500).
Entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan purchased technical sulfur, high-density polyethylene, as well as handmade carpets on the stock exchange for the domestic market.
A total of 54 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
