BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 1. Turkmenistan has harvested 1.5 million tons of wheat since the beginning of this year's harvesting season, Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Annageldi Yazmyradow at an expanded meeting of the government.
In general, 1.4 million tons of grain were planned to be harvested from 690,000 hectares in Turkmenistan, including 400,000 tons in the Ahal region, 310,000 in the Lebap region, 345,000 in Mary, 265,000 in Dashoguz and 80,000 tons in the Balkan region.
In order to ensure the smooth operation of the agricultural machinery, work was carried out to provide it with fuel and lubricants and spare parts.
