BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 4. The Lebapgazchykarysh department of Turkmenistan’s Turkmengaz State Concern exceeded the plan for natural gas production from January through October 2022, Trend reports citing Business Turkmenistan news agency.
During this period, the department manufactured about 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas, having fulfilled the annual production plan two months earlier.
Furthermore, the Lebapgazchykarysh produced 37,100 tons of gas condensate from January through October, which is the raw material for the Seydi Oil Refinery (SOR).
Meanwhile, 83.77 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced in Turkmenistan last year, which is the highest figure in the last 30 years.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. Its gas reserves have increased by 126 billion cubic meters as a result of the industrial development of recently discovered gas fields.
