BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 6. Russia plans to synchronize transport construction plans with Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, the Russian government plans to sign agreements on synchronization of railway and transport construction plans with Turkmenistan within the framework of the International Economic Forum "Russia - the Islamic World: KazanForum".
This forum will be held in the Russian city of Kazan on May 18 through 19 this year. In addition to Turkmenistan, Russia is also planning to sign similar agreements with Kazakhstan, Iran and India at this forum.
Earlier, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, during a recent visit to Ashgabat (Turkmenistan), invited Turkmen business circles to this forum in Kazan.
Following the results of this Turkmen-Russian business forum held on January 19 through 20 in Ashgabat, the countries signed 20 bilateral documents in the field of transport and logistics totaling more than $2 billion.
