BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 2. Representatives of the Baku Shipyard LLC and the Balkan Shipyard and Ship Repair Plant OJSC discussed prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
At the meeting held in the Turkmen city of Turkmenbashi, the parties got acquainted with the capabilities of both enterprises - their structure, activities and information about cooperation.
Attention was paid to the development of shipbuilding systems of the two countries and opportunities for the exchange of experience.
Moreover, representatives of the Baku Shipyard visited the production areas of the Turkmen enterprise, got acquainted with its infrastructure and equipment.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached that the Azerbaijani side would send proposals in the near future on areas of further cooperation to establish cooperation in the field of shipbuilding.
