BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 4. Mary fishing enterprise of Turkmenistan caught more than 270 tons of fish in 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, the caught fish is sorted at the enterprise and then sent to cold storage, from where the goods go further both to the domestic market and abroad.
This fishing farm, which has been operating since 2018, has its own artificial pond in which fry are bred.
Furthermore, 7 tons of fry were grown in this pond last year and released into the reservoirs of the Mary region.
In general, more than 40 fish farms operate throughout Turkmenistan. The state pays great attention to its activities by allocating favorable loans for the development of fishing in the country.
