BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 6. The growth rate of Turkmenistan's GDP for the first 2 months of 2023 remained at the level of 6.2 percent, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This was stated by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting held on March 3.
According to him, at the moment it is necessary to preserve the high results achieved in various spheres in Turkmenistan, as well as to multiply them.
Furthermore, the head of state noted that in Turkmenistan it is necessary to work hard on the implementation of the "Program of socio-economic development of the country for 2023", to keep in view the consistent implementation of all ongoing projects and comprehensive reforms.
At the meeting, the results of the government's work in the economic sphere for the first 2 month of 2023 were summed up, a number of draft documents were considered and priority tasks of the socio-economic development of the country were discussed.
