BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 17. Kazan Helicopters JSC, located in Tatarstan (Russian region), plans to deliver two helicopters to Turkmenistan for medical purposes, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Oleg Korobchenko, at the Turkmen–Tatarstan business forum held on March 15.
According to him, Kazan Helicopters is currently negotiating the supply of two Mi-8 and Ansat helicopters to Turkmenistan for medical service.
This business forum was held in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, on March 15, attended by representatives of the Turkmen-Tatarstan commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
Meanwhile, in the period from 2009 to 2021, Kazan Helicopters delivered about 13 helicopters to Turkmenistan.
