BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 18. Russian Ak Bars Shipbuilding Corporation is discussing with the Turkmendenizderyayollary Agency (Turkmen State Service of Maritime and River Transportation) formats for the construction of future dry cargo ships, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This was announced by Advisor to the General Director of Ak Bars Shipbuilding Corporation Gennady Slugin, at the Turkmen–Tatarstan business forum held on March 15 in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan).
He noted that two years ago, the heads of Turkmenistan and Tatarstan (Russian region) reached agreements on the implementation of a number of joint projects for the construction of seaworthy cargo and passenger civilian ships.
This business forum was held in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, on March 15, attended by representatives of the Turkmen-Tatarstan commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
