BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 6. Businessmen from Afghanistan and UAE purchased car fuel during trading on April 25 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the exchange.
Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan and UAE purchased 30,000 tons on the exchange at a price of $699 per ton. The total amount of the transactions was $20.9 million.
At the same time, according to the exchange, on the same day, entrepreneurs from Türkiye purchased 367.5 tons of various types of cotton yarn in the amount of $670,500.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. The country pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
