BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 20. The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Georgia from January through May 2023 amounted to $29.78 million, Trend reports.
According to the data of the National Statistical Committee of Georgia, this is almost 3 times less than in the first five months of last year ($89,1 million).
During this period, Turkmen exports to Georgia amounted to $25.66 million, which is 3.3 times less than in the same period of 2022 ($85.67 million).
Turkmenistan increased imports from Georgia by 19.83 percent from January through May this year compared to the same period last year ($3.43 million) - up to $4.11 million.
Meanwhile, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Georgia amounted to $186.4 million in 2022.
