ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 1. About 70,000 eggs are collected daily at the poultry complex of a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, Trend reports.
According to official data, the poultry complex located in the Ak Bugday district of the Ahal region of Turkmenistan contains more than 100,000 laying hens.
On the territory of 100 hectares belonging to this enterprise, a variety of grain crops are grown, which are widely used as feed in this poultry complex.
Furthermore, Turkmenistan commissioned 20 objects for the agro-industrial complex last year. Thus, during this period, 3 livestock farms, 3 poultry farms, 2 cold stores, 8 greenhouses, and 4 food enterprises were built in Turkmenistan.
The Government of Turkmenistan actively supported the poultry industry by providing financial assistance and subsidies for feed, as well as contributing to the modernization of equipment on farms. This contributed to an increase in the productivity and efficiency of poultry production.
