Russian and Uzbek Deputy Foreign Ministers Grigory Karasin and Eldor Aripov have discussed the urgent issues of Russian-Uzbek relations and the preparation of Uzbek President Islam Karimov's official visit to Russia, the Russian Foreign Ministry said today.
The conversation took place in a constructive atmosphere typical for Russian-Uzbek relations and strategic partnership. Uzbek Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Russia Ziyadulla Pulathodzhaev attended and took part in the conversation, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
According to the preliminary data voiced in Russian media, the Uzbek President's visit to Russia is scheduled for April 15.
