The Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov discussed the upcoming Uzbek-Russian high-level contacts, Russian Foreign Ministry's press service said Feb. 20.
"Topical issues of bilateral interaction and cooperation on international arena were discussed during the talk," said the ministry.
As it was reported earlier, the 15th summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is scheduled to be held June 2016 in Tashkent.
The further development of the SCO, issues of regional security and economic cooperation will be among the key issues on the summit's agenda.
