Another stage of Coca-Cola Bottlers Uzbekistan’s state share sale completed

The State Assets Management Agency of Uzbekistan has completed the next stage of the sale of the state share in the authorized capital of Coca-Cola Bottlers Uzbekistan, Ltd LLC, Trend reports with reference to the State Asset Management Agency (SAMA).

It is reported that SAMA and Coca-Cola Bottlers signed non-disclosure agreements with applicants admitted in accordance with the decision of the State Tender Commission to the second stage of the sale of the state share.

The financial consultant for the sale of the state share, the investment bank Rothschild & Cie, sent a letter to the applicants describing the sale process, as well as providing the company's financial statements for 2017-2019, a business plan and reports detailing financial, tax, organizational and legal aspects of the company's activities.

To date, applicants have sent non-binding (indicative) proposals for the acquisition of a state share in the Company.

Based on the results of the study, together with Rothschild & Cie and Dentons law firm, the proposals received from the bidders, the State Tender Commission admitted the bidders to participate in the next stage of the sale process.

Currently, SAMA together with the international auditing company KPMG and the law firm Dentons, has formed a virtual database containing financial, legal, organizational and other data about the Company for its further use by applicants.

At this stage, applicants will be given the opportunity to carry out additional due diligence of the Company using a virtual database, as well as take part in a presentation of the Company, during which applicants will be able to communicate with the management of the Company during the Q&A sessions.
