Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan have established a joint investment fund, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
The authorized capital of the fund is $50 million, but the parties are planning to increase it to $200 million.
The agreement to establish the fund was signed on March 11, 2021 in Tashkent.
Earlier it was noted that the fund will become a catalyst for the development of cooperation between the two countries.
In recent years, relations between the countries have reached a new level. The countries are actively working on the issue of common borders, interacting in the defense and other spheres.
Previously, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan signed a roadmap to expand and deepen partnership in the field of industrial cooperation, in December 2020.
