The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan and the Russian 'X-Holding' will implement a program for the development of automation and digitalization of the fuel and energy complex in Uzbekistan in 2022, Trend reports via press-service of the Uzbek ministry.
According to the press service, in the oil and gas industry, digitalization is seen as the main way to increase the competitiveness and profitability.
The Ministry of Energy signed an agreement with 'X-Holding' in December 2020 for the provision of services for the development of a concept and a roadmap for digitalization of the fuel and energy complex of Uzbekistan for 2021-2025.
'X- Holding' is a Russian diversified IT structure, which includes 27 IT companies. The holding is engaged in digital transformation of large enterprises, information security, data storage systems, support systems for the activities of mobile operators, cryptography and quantum computing, machine learning, neural networks, block chain technology and artificial intelligence.
