Uzbekistan increased the volume of its imports by 20.5 percent from January through October 2021 compared to the same period last year ($16.7 billion), reaching $20.2 billion, Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
At the same time, imports from the CIS countries amounted to $8 billion, and from other countries amounted to $12.1 billion.
During this period Uzbekistan imported goods in the amount of $18.8 billion and services in the amount of $1.3 billion.
Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover from January through October 2021 increased by 8.6 percent compared to the same period last year ($30 billion), reaching $32.6 billion.
