Chinese Sinotrans Landbridge Transportation Co., Ltd sent 8200 cargo containers to Uzbekistan in 2021, Trend reports citing the Uzbek media outlets.
Since the beginning of this year, the volume of containers sent from the Lianyungang railway hub (Jiangsu province of China), which is one of the main points of shipment of goods from China, South Korea and Japan to Uzbekistan has reached 240.
Uzbekistan is considered by Chinese manufacturers as one of the leading partners in Central Asia in terms of exporting products from China.
This was discussed on the meeting of the representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Shanghai (China) with deputy general manager of China Railway Container Transport Corp., Ltd Shanghai Branch and assistant general manager of Sinotrans Landbridge Transportation Co., Ltd (a subsidiary of China Railway Corporation).
