BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 1. The volume of tomato exports from Uzbekistan from January through June 2022 has been announced, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
During the specified period, Uzbekistan exported 56,000 tons of tomatoes for a total of $42.1 million.
The countries that imported the most of the Uzbek tomatoes were Russia - 27,300 tons, Kazakhstan - 22,200 tons and Kyrgyzstan - 6,000 tons.
Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover in the first half of 2022 increased by 32.4 percent compared to the same period last year and reached $24.5 billion.
