BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 10. Uzbekistan intends to expand multifaceted cooperation with China, Trend reports via the Uzbek Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.
In this regard, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev, held a meeting to discuss the current state and issues of cooperation with the People's Republic of China.
The meeting was attended by heads of ministries and departments, industry associations, commercial banks, local authorities, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in China.
During the meeting, the prospects for the development of investment agreements and trade contracts in the areas of trade, economic, industrial and interregional cooperation, cooperation in the fields of transport, energy, pharmaceuticals, chemistry and petrochemistry, as well as partnerships in the automotive industry, mining, metallurgy, sericulture, cotton growing, agriculture and water management, health care, science, education and culture, textile and leather industries, building materials and other areas were discussed.
