BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 19. The foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan amounted to $28.1 billion from January through July 2022, which is an increase of 29.2 percent compared to the same period last year ($21.8 billion), Trend reports via the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
At the same time, the share of the CIS countries in the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan from January through July 2022 amounted to $10.4 billion, which is an increase of 26.7 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2021 ($8.2 billion).
The foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan with other countries in the specified period amounted to 17.7 billion, which is an increase of 30.6 percent compared to the same period of 2021 ($13.6 billion).
From January through July 2022, exports of goods and services from Uzbekistan amounted to $11.3 billion, while imports amounted to $16.8 billion.
The largest trading partners of Uzbekistan during this period were China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, the Republic of Korea, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.
