BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 3. Uzbekistan has published data on livestock production from January through September 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
During this period, 1.9 million tons of meat, 8.3 million tons of milk and 5.9 billion chicken eggs were produced in Uzbekistan.
In value terms, livestock production amounted to 118.5 trillion soums ($10.6 billion), which is 4.1 percent more than in the same period of 2021.
The share of livestock products in the total volume of agricultural production amounted to 49.3 percent.
Uzbekistan provides targeted support to the development of agriculture in the country.
