BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 24. The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan reached $3.71 billion from January through October 2022, which is an increase of 17.7 percent compared to the same period last year ($3.16 billion), Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
Export of goods and services from Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan during this period increased by 19.7 percent compared to the same period of 2021 ($952.6 million), reaching $1.14 billion.
Imports from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan increased by 16.8 percent compared to the same period in 2021 ($1.2 billion), reaching $1.58 billion from January through October 2022.
At the same time, 563,700 tons of fruits and vegetables worth $180.5 million were exported from Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan from January through October 2022.
During this period, Uzbekistan exported textile products to Kazakhstan worth $49.5 million.
